Where have you been?

I know, I know, I haven't posted in a while!!  But lets just say, life got really busy all of a sudden!!

I have big news!!

In My Stamp Room is moving!!

not the blog, but my actual stamp room...lol...is moving to Regina, Saskatchewan!

you will probably enjoy a little less of my posts for the first little while as we get settled in our new environment, but hopefully soon I can get back to posting cards, and ideas and tons of other things soon!!

My husband and I have bought a restaurant and are moving to Regina because of that, for those of you that dont know, I currently reside in Edmonton, AB, and we are moving to Regina, SK which is approximately 9 hours away, and in a totally different province.

what does that mean?  well, you can still order through my Stampin' Up! website, and expect the same great service that you have had before, your product will still get delivered to your home.  You can still read about cards and ideas that i have as i post them, and hopefully soon some new classes happening in my new area.

I hope that you all will check back from time to time as i get adjusted and start posting again.

It's my Blogaversary!

Ok so, tomorrow is actually my Blogaversary, but I will be away in Regina and Moose Jaw to visit with Jay and Karen.  I was thinking of doing some blog candy for my 2nd year blogging, but I couldn't think of what I wanted to give away, so here is what I am going to do... 

If you leave me a comment over the weekend (today, Friday March 13 through Monday March 16) on this post, I will do a draw at the end of the weekend from all the comments, and I will make the winner 5 Handmade cards, winners choice of sentiment, they can be all the same sentiment, or all different sentiments, as well as send a few other goodies.

Decor Elements in your Bathroom!!

OK, How cool is this!!

Watch the video above to watch as Jaron teaches us how to add Decor Elements to a clear shower curtain to make a bathroom come to life.  You could also use the same decor elements on the walls in your bathroom and on your mirror and smooth glass accessories to make your whole bathroom coordinate!!!

Count Down to Valentines Day, Day 10

Today is the last day of this series, I hope you have enjoyed these cards, and that they help you to create one of a kind valentines for all your friends and loved ones.  You can find the supplies for all these cards on Day 1.

Card #10

1.  cut a 3 1/4x2 1/2 Piece of Very vanilla
2. Stamp Love on the very vanilla
3. Cut a 1x2 3/4” strip of striped DSP and mount it on the inside of the card. 
4. attach a brad to the flower, and the button on the O
5. wrap and tie bashful blue taffeta ribbon around the vanilla piece and adhere to the card.

Count Down to Valentines Day, Day 9

1 more day of this little series.  You can find the supplies for these cards on day 1 of this series.

Card #9

1. cut a 3 1/4x2 1/2 Piece of Very vanilla
2. Mount a 1 1/2x2 1/2” Piece of dsp on the right side.
3. stamp the birds on the left side
4. Stamp the 3 hearts stamp onto Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette Cardstock and Punch each of those out with the Heart to Heart Punch, adhere to the card
5. Stamp friend to friend on a scrap piece of very vanilla, punch out with the word window punch, words over the left of the punch,
6. mount this on the card, adhere the small button with a glue dot to the right side of the word window punch.

Count Down to Valentines Day, Day 8

5 more days till Valentines Day!  Are you all ready?  Dinner plans? A night out with friends maybe? well what ever it is, I hope you enjoy your day!  You can find the supplies for the cards on Day 1 of this series.

Card #8

1.  stamp happy valentines day on the edge of the card that sticks out past the scallops.
2. cut a 3 1/4x2 1/2 Piece of dsp
3. stamp the butterfly and the love you trail on the corner of the dsp,
4. stamp and punch out the heart to heart stamp on chocolate chip and baja breeze twice
5. adhere the larger hearts as wings on the butterfly
6. wrap chocolate chip taffeta around the dsp and tie with the button
7. adhere it to the card base
8. stamp happy valentines day on the edge of the card that sticks out past the scallops.

Count Down to Valentines Day, Day 7

Hope your week is swell!  You can find the supplies for these cards on Day 1.

Card #7

1. stamp the trio of small hearts on the edge of the card that sticks out past the scallops.
2. cut a 1 3/4x2 3/4” piece of dsp, and a piece of ribbon
3. adhere the ribbon on the back of the dsp about 2/3 of the way down, wrap it around the front of the dsp and then adhere this to the card base.
4. stamp and punch out the scallop circle
5. Punch out a 3/4” Circle of chocolate chip and adhere this to the center of the scallop circle
6. Using a glue dot, adhere the button to the middle of the chocolate chip circle, adhere this to the card.
