  • Jello Cake
You make a yellow cake, according to the directions. I use a 13x9 pan. Let it cool. Add a package of Jello to a cup of boiling water. Stir and let it sit for a minute. Poke holes all over the cake with a fork. I like to make them in lines about 1/2 an inch apart. Pour jello all over the cake and stick the cake in the fridge. Later add a package of vanilla pudding to a tub of cool whip. Spread it all over the cake and stick it back in the fridge. Eat. Tis deeeeelish!

Swap Cards!

So I joined this Yahoo Group called Canadian SU! Swaps Only, a group of Canadian Stampin' Up! Demos who want to swap.  I have participated in a few virtual swaps, meaning that you make one card, take a picture of it and email it to the swap coordinator, who in turn compiles all of them into a word doc and emails you the final document with everyone elses cards, but I decided this time to participate in an actual card front swap.  The premise of this swap was to create a card front using SU! Wheels, jumbo or small.  At first I wasnt sure what i was going to do, but the other night i had a dream... so here is my entry!!

Wheelie_fun_swap

The card was made by cutting 2 x 5 1/4 inch pieces of whisper white card stock.  Wheeling the wheel with chocolate chip across those pieces, which was then mounted onto a 2 1/4x5 1/4 piece of bashful blue.  Then on another sheet of whisper white and a bashful blue wheel cartridge I wheeled just the area where the G was on the wheel.  Punched out the G with my 1 1/4" Circle punch, mounted that on Chocolate Chip circles made with my 1 3/8" Circle punch.  I then punched out a small star in chocolate chip, and mounted that a large bashful blue star.  The grosgrain ribbon is wrapped around the back of the wheeled piece and mounted to the card base.  The thanks image I embossed on with my versamark pad and white embossing powder onto the card base, and their all done!!  Of course though I didn't do the cards one at a time, nope I Cut all the pieces, wheeled all the pieces, punched all the pieces and then put them all together in steps as well.
