Truely, Madly, Knitting socks

Ok so I am madly knitting to finish up my socks to the point that they are ready to have heels done.  My friend is going to show me how to do that on tuesday but my socks have to be ready for that!!

Here is my check list, keeping in mind this checklist is for socks that fit me, so yours will be different, my friend took alot of measurements on my very ticklish feet to get this checklist...lol...

- Toes completed, while i did them wrong because you are supposed to increase every row until you have 20 stitches on each side, and then knit every other row until you have 30 stitches, i just did the every other row thing till i had 30 stitches, i guess its not wrong i just end up with a pointer toe instead of a rounder one.  ah well, its done. CHECK!
- check guage for total sts should be 7.5 x guage, for me that is 34, so must do 2 more increase rows to make 34. That is done.  CHECK!
- knit until socks measure 6", and finally after knitting on the socks alot slower then i would like this is done.  CHECK!
- on sole side increase at both ends of just the sole side every second row until you have completed about an inch, for me that is 10 rows with every second row as an increase row to have 5 increase rows.  This is done.  CHECK!
- Turn heel with short rows.  This step is ready!!  Yippee I am ready to turn my heels!!

Here are my socks before turning the heel (click on the picture for a larger view)...
